At JB&B Capital, we firmly believe in the importance of giving back to our community. Our commitment extends beyond providing exceptional products/services; it's about contributing to the well-being and growth of the community that has supported us.
Through our involvement in local charities, events, and sustainable practices, we seek to create a meaningful impact. We believe a thriving community benefits everyone — residents, businesses, and the environment alike.
Join us in making a difference. Together, we can create a community where everyone has the opportunity to flourish, and where the bonds that tie us together grow even stronger.
One of the things we love most at JB&B Capital is giving back to the community, especially at the holiday season.
Emerald Youth Development Officer Courtney Tilford and associates recently dropped by our Knoxville office to pick up a donation and snap a picture with our staff. Emerald Youth provides countless opportunities for our Knoxville youth and it's always a pleasure to partner with them. Later in the week, Courtney also gave some members of our staff a tour of the Emerald Youth facilities, school and soccer fields.
Over forty JB&B Capital and Pinnacle Financial Partners associates participated in the American Heart Association held the annual Greater Knoxville Heart Walk at the Knoxville Zoo.
Over 30 hours of volunteer time were donated to the annual WATE-TV Honor Guard Telethon along with a big check from JB&B. At the end of the day, nearly $80,000 was raised to support our local Honor Guard. The team had a blast hanging out with anchors Lori Tucker and Tearsa Smith at the studio.
The Knoxville Area Urban League held its annual Shoes for School event. With the help of hundreds of volunteers and several corporate partners, kids ages 5-12 in local Knoxville communities received a free pair of shoes to start the next academic year.
Associates from JB&B Capital and K&L Trailer Leasing (a wholly owned subsidiary of JB&B) dressed in red to show their support for the American Heart Association's campaign to bring greater awareness of heart disease, a leading cause of death for Americans.
The American Heart Association says awareness is a critical component of the Go Red movement to help spread the word that cardiovascular disease is the No. 1 killer of women. They also urge everyone to “Know Your Numbers” – key personal health numbers that help determine risk for heart disease include total cholesterol, blood pressure, blood sugar and body mass index.
